Two announcements for you:
- The first is that there is a mens’ and sons breakfast this Sat, the 27th of Apr. at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Wesleyan Church. We sincerely hope to see many, or better, ALL of you there.
- The second and equally important announcement is that there will be an Old Fashioned Hymn Sing this coming Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Wesleyan Church. We look for and welcome any and all from all over our town to come join us and sing your favorite Hymns. :>) In years past we have held these monthly Hymn Sings and the church pews would be packed with those who loved to sing and hear others sing. It’s a great time of fellowship. Bring your friends and neighbors and let’s have a grand rally of fellowship in singing!
Looking forward to seeing Y’all!
Thank God for so many praises that were shared in worship this morning and last Sunday morning. Jesus said, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matt 11:29-30). Jesus guides us and carries our burdens, we just need to allow ourselves to be guided!
In addition to the many events listed below, we have a couple of new ones:
- Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm: Join us for Bunny’s Bible study. We are currently studying the Gospels.
- Saturday mornings at 9:00 am: Fathers’ and sons’ breakfast and excellent videos. Join us as we guide our sons to become godly men.
Please continue to pray for our Pastor, our church, our community, our nation. Pray for God’s guidance — God is doing great things at LLWC!
And don’t miss this latest update from Veronica Thompson!
Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch? Join us tomorrow for worship service at 11 AM and then free lunch afterward! There’s always plenty of food, so bring a friend too!
