In addition to the regular events listed below, here are a few updates:
- Tonight’s Bible Study is cancelled. With wind chill warnings as low as -40 due to very cold temperatures and northwest winds 10-20 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH, it’s better to stay inside where you’re warm!
- The Dress-a-Girl workshop for February 21st has been postponed. Please pray for this ministry, and how God would use us. And stay tuned for a new date. In the meantime, feel free to buy appropriate material and notions as you have opportunity.
- Jo-Cinda distributed baby bottles, that we can fill with spare change to get baby toiletries and diaper needs. Please contact the church with any questions (518-624-2441) and return your contributions and donations by March 15, 2015.
- Cynthia is helping to organize desserts for the fundraiser for the Gendron Family. Please contact her if you can provide a dessert but need it to be picked up. Please label the primary ingredients of the dessert, especially if it contains nuts. Desserts need to be at the Long Lake Town Hall by noon this Saturday, February 21st. Click here for more details.
- Please pray for Deb & Keith, Louisa, Phyllis, and others who need healing and encouragement.
- Here are a few points from this morning’s lesson about Samson from Judges 13:
- “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13).
- [Samson] “cried out to the Lord, “You have given your servant this great victory…” (Judges 15:18).
- The Battle belongs to the Lord!
- “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13).
