December 13th at LLWC

We are very pleased to announce that Pastor Andy McCutcheon has accepted our invitation to be the Pastor of Long Lake Wesleyan Church.

Pastor McCutcheon plans to arrive in mid January and will be accompanied by his wife, Doreen, and son, Michael.  Pastor McCutcheon has been the Pastor of Wesleyan Community Church in Shokan, NY since 2010.

December 12th at LLWC

The vote to determine if Pastor McCutcheon will be invited to be our next Pastor, will take place immediately following the Sunday morning service on Dec 12th.
The Wesleyan District policy is that only active members of LLWC are eligible to vote to invite a candidate to accept the position as Pastor. However, the policy offers the regular attendees of the congregation the opportunity to express their opinions through a non-binding vote taken at the same time. This voting process enables the candidate to assess the church’s overall support for him as Pastor, before he decides whether or not to accept the Pastorship. Pastoral candidates take seriously the opinion of nonmembers who are regular attendees.
