Pray for the nations: Seychelles. “Pray for Holy Spirit illumination for Seychellois who claim to be Christian but practice voodoo-like spiritism.”

Here are this week’s announcements:

  • Sunday: Prophecy study in the book of Revelation. LLWC at 6:00 PM.
  • Tuesday: Men’s prayer for revival in Long Lake. LLWC at 6:30 AM.
  • Wednesday: Bible study on the “I AM” statements of Jesus, led by Dave Carney at LLWC at 6:00 PM.
  • Saturday: Potato Harvest at 2:00 PM at Thompsons at 99 Kickerville Rd. Bring your potato hooks and boots! Then we’ll celebrate with a Harvest Dinner at LLWC with potatoes, carrots, turkeys, dessert, etc. We’ll need help setting up and cleaning up afterward. Check with Cynthia to see what else we still need.
  • Saturday: Fusion Youth 6:00-8:00 PM.
  • Sunday, September 30: Yoga Dangers at LLWC with Roger Corbin at 6:00 PM.
  • October 7: Fellowship Lunch, everyone invited to LLWC Fellowship Hall at noon.
  • October 13: Dress a Girl Workshop. Imagine a world where every girl owned at least one dress! Girls who have dresses are less likely to be trafficked because they look like they belong to someone. This is a great project for girl scouts or Community Service hours. Join us at 10:00 AM as we start making dresses for little girls. If you are able, please bring: sturdy cotton fabric, trim, double wide bias tape, elastic, sewing machine, iron and ironing board. We’ll meet in the Community Room of the Tupper Lake Public Library, 41 Lake St., Tupper Lake NY 12986 (enter by the lower-back entrance).   • Tuesday: Men’s prayer for revival in Long Lake, at LLWC at 6:30 AM.
  • Wednesday: Bible study on grace and the authority of the Bible, led by Dave Carney at LLWC at 6:00 PM.
  • Saturday: Meeting with United Methodist DS Debbie Earthrowl at Newcomb at 9:00 AM.
  • Saturday: Fusion Youth 6:00-8:00 PM at the Overlook Pavilion. Movie at 7:30, “Miracles from Heaven.”
  • Saturday, September 29: Potato Harvest at 2:00 PM, 99 Kickerville Rd. Then Harvest Dinner, with potatoes, carrots, turkeys, etc. We’ll need several people to cook turkeys  and bring them to the Fellowship Hall. Cynthia will have a sign-up sheet next Sunday.
