This month we celebrate 10 years of Dress a Girl workshops in the Long Lake/Tupper Lake area! Our first workshop was in the Long Lake Wesleyan Church in April 2014. Since then, we’ve made thousands of dresses that we’ve distributed to little girls around the world in need!
We packed up 603 dresses that our team of Dress a Girl seamstresses made. These dresses will go with me to Plattsburgh, to be packed in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes around Northern NY. Then those shoeboxes will be delivered to children in need around the world. I love this collaboration between DAG and OCC! And I love this dedicated team of seamstresses!
