Our workshop on June 1st was great! We had 11 ladies and we took in 126 dresses! We got a lot done, and had fun! I didn’t get any pictures.
During lunch, I thanked Nancy Snyder for all the dresses that she’s made. Nancy started coming to DAG workshops when we moved to the Tupper Lake Public Library in October 2018. She has not kept track, but I guesstimated that she has made well over 2000 dresses! She also made at least four quilts; she makes her quilts by hand, and she has given me at least four and told me to raffle them off to raise money for DAG. Thank you Nancy!
I also read a thank you note that I received from some of the ladies in Plattsburgh, where I had delivered 603 dresses last month. They were thrilled to have these dresses to pack in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
