For quite some time, Luke and Megan Adams have had a desire and a calling to long-term missions work. In 2007 they began to respond to their calling with an investigative two-month trip to Ethiopia. It was a definite growing experience, and even with some of the hardships and trials, they felt God’s call to missions cemented in their lives. A few years later, with an increasing burden and passion to share the gospel with unreached people groups, they felt the time was right to begin the process of becoming long-term missionaries.
In July 2013 Global Partners appointed Luke and Megan to serve as intern missionaries. They will be serving in the Czech Republic. It is their desire to see an indigenous gospel movement securely established in the Czech Republic. They feel called to serve at the grassroots community level–building relationships, starting small house groups, and ultimately equipping Czech people to sustain and grow Christ’s church.
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:31 NIV).
